Mr. Gautam S. Adani |
Mr. Gautam S. Adani, founder Chairman of the Adani Group has been associated with MPSEZ since inception as a promoter director. He was appointed as a Managing Director of the company on 1 September 1998 and as the Chairman and Managing Director of MPSEZ on 5 August 2006.
Under his leadership, Adani Group has emerged as a diversified conglomerate with interests in international trading, infrastructure development, power generation and distribution, development of special economic zones, gas distribution, oil and gas exploration and production, coal mining and shipping. He has been instrumental in the diversification of the Adani Group into the port and logistics sector. |

Mr. Rajesh S. Adani |
Mr. Rajesh S. Adani, a non-executive director of MPSEZ, has been associated with Adani Enterprises Limited since its inception in 1988. At present he is the Managing Director of Adani Enterprises Ltd. He brings his vast experience in a variety of management functions ranging from Finance, Marketing and business development, Legal aspects of business and organization building for the development of the MPSEZ.
He has a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree from the Gujarat University. |

Mr. S. Venkiteswaran |
Mr. S. Venkiteswaran, a Senior Advocate at the High Court of Mumbai , is an independent director of MPSEZ. He is a specialist in commercial disputes related to international trade, shipping and aviation. He was conferred the Varuna Award in 2004 by the Government of India for his services to the Indian shipping industry. He is also on the Board of several banks and government bodies such as Centurion Bank of Punjab Limited, Indian Registrar of Shipping, National Securities Clearing Corporation Limited., National Securities Depositories Limited and the National Stock Exchange Limited.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Mathematics and LLB from the University of Bombay. |

Mr. K. N. Venkatasubramanian |
Mr. K. N. Venkatasubramanian is an independent director of MPSEZ. He has been working as a project consultant, after superannuating as Chairman of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. He has more than 45 years of experience in the chemical, petrochemical, engineering and refining industry. Having worked initially with international oil companies like Standard Vaccum, Exxon, Philips Petroleum, he joined Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Limited (IPCL) in 1973 where he held several positions, including that of Director (Operations), wherein he handled production, engineering, materials and employee relations. He was also a member of the Board of Directors of the State Trading Corporation of India Limited for two years from May 1982. He worked as Chairman cum Managing Director of Engineers India Limited from 1990 to 1991 and as Chairman of Indian Oil Corporation from 1991 to 1996. He has also served as a convener of working group on petrochemicals established by the Department of Petroleum, Government of India for formulating the policy framework for petrochemicals during the 7th five year plan. He was also the Chairman of the sub-committee on Petrochemicals constituted by the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Government of India, for formulating the perspective plan for petrochemicals during the 8th and 9th plan five year plan periods.
He is a chemical engineering graduate from University of Madras, and holds a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur. |

Mr. Surendra Kumar Tuteja |
Mr. Surendra Kumar Tuteja, an independent director of MPSEZ, is a former Indian Administrative Service official. Belonging to the Punjab cadre, he has served the Government of India and the Government of Punjab in various capacities. He was the Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce, and Principal Secretary, Finance, with the Government of Punjab. He retired as Secretary, Department of Food and Public Distribution, Government of India in 2005. He is presently the Chairman of Central Warehousing Corporation, Swaraj Mazda Limited and Abhishek Industries Limited. He was conferred with the Dayanand Munjal award in 1992 as "Manager of the Year" by the Ludhiana Management Association.
He hold a Masters degree in Commerce from the Shriram College of Commerce, University of Delhi and is a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. |

Mr. Daniel Trevelyn Joseph |
Mr. Daniel Trevelyn Joseph, an independent director of MPSEZ, is a former Indian Administrative Service official belonging to the Maharashtra cadre. He has served the Government of India and the Government of Maharashtra in various capacities, including as Secretary, Public Health Department and Urban Development Department, Government of Maharashtra, as the first Chief Executive Officer of the Slum Rehabilitation Authority; the Managing Director of the Development Corporation of Konkan Limited; the Managing Director of The State Industrial and Investment Corporation Of Maharashtra Limited (SICOM); the Director-General of Shipping, Government of India, Secretary (Coordination), Cabinet Secretariat, Rashtrapati Bhavan and the Secretary, Department of Shipping, Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways, Government of India. He has also worked as Adviser to the Department of Shipping, Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways, Government of India. Mr. D.T. Joseph was elected as President at the International Maritime Organization’s Plenary Conference in February 2004. In June 2007, he was appointed as the Chairman of Pay Revision Committee for Class I and Class II officers in Major Port Trusts and Dock Labor Boards of India.
He holds a Masters degrees in English Literature and Economics from the University of Madras and University of Manchester, respectively. |

Mr. Arun Duggal |
Mr. Arun Duggal an independent director of MPSEZ is an experienced international banker advising corporations on Financial Strategy, M&A and Capital Raising areas. He has been an International Advisor to a number of Corporations, major Financial Institutions and Private Equity firms.
He is the Chairman of Board of Directors of Shriram Transport Finance Company, Shriram Properties Ltd, Shriram City Union Finance Ltd., and Shriram EPC Limited. He is the Vice Chairman of International Asset Reconstruction Company. He is also on the Board of Directors of Jubilant Energy Ltd., Patni Computers (Chairman, Audit Committee), Fidelity Fund Management, LNG Petronet (Nominee Director of Asian Development Bank), Manipal Acunova Limited, Zuari Industries, Info Edge (India), Dish TV India Ltd. and IMA (formerly Economist Intelligence Unit, India) and Hertz (India). He is a member of the Investment Committee of Axis Private Equity.
Mr. Duggal had a 26 years career with Bank of America, mostly in the U.S., Hong Kong and Japan. His last assignment was as Chief Executive of Bank of America in India from 1998 to 2001. From 2001 to 2003, he was the Chief Financial Officer of HCL Technologies, India.
He holds a B.Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineer from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He is a visiting professor of Banking & Finance at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. |

Mr. Rajeeva Sinha |
Mr. Rajeeva Sinha is a Whole-time Director of Mundra Port And Special Economic Zone Ltd. (MPSEZL) He is a former Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer and brings in in-depth knowledge of shipping and port sectors which he has served for 15 years before taking voluntary retirement. He was the Senior Deputy Director General of Shipping in the office of the Director General of Shipping, from February, 1992 to January, 1995 when he was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Maharashtra Maritime Board, where he worked from January, 1995 to August, 1997. He also worked as the Deputy Chairman of Mumbai Port Trust from September, 1997 to August, 2003. His last appointment in the Government was as the Principal Secretary, Government of Maharashtra till September, 2005. He was also the Managing Director of Gujarat Pipavav Port Ltd. from October, 2005 to January, 2007. He has considerable experience and expertise in port and shipping management; commercial, legal, labour laws and regulations; project and financial management and national and international maritime laws.
He is the graduate of Advanced Management Programme (AMP) from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, U.S. He is also a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, U.K. Mr. Sinha also holds a Master of Science degree in Shipping Management from the World Maritime University, Sweden. He has also secured his Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, University of Mumbai and has got LLB from Marathwada University, Aurangabad. He has also completed Diploma in International Port Planning and Management from the University of Lousiana, U.S.
Mr. Sinha has more than 35 years of experience in public and private sectors.

Dr. Malay Mahadevia |
Dr. Malay Mahadevia, is is a Whole Time Director (WTD) of MPSEZL with effect from 20th May, 2009. He has contributed from grass roots to organization development with his rich experience and dedicated work with organization and had played a vital role in implementation of all infrastructure projects along with Mundra Port project. He is M.D.S. from Nair Hospital Dental College, Mumbai of 1989 batch and is gold medalist. Also recently in the year 2008, he has completed his Ph.D. in Marine Ecology. Working both as a practicing dentist and infrastructure developer has resulted in cross fertilization of ideas and practices resulting in continuous improvement, both as a human being and as a professional. He joined Corporate Sector in 1992 with explicit mandate to assess viability of building a captive berth / Jetty for exports. Selected Mundra as a final location for developing a captive jetty, primarily for salt exports. Worked on developing the business model for the port from ground zero. Port today handles multiple commodities, has throughput of 36 Mil T and has the potential to become one of the largest ports in India. Currently the sectors handled by Dr. Malay Mahadevia are Marine & Ports, Special Economic Zones, Health Care, Railway Construction, Water Supply, Education, Railway Logistics, Airport and Social Infrastructure. His Pioneering efforts and enriched experience will go a long way to the development of Mundra Port. He had extensively worked for developing the oral healthcare awareness by organizing various camps, Setting up of “FOCUS” in association with Gujarat Chamber of Commerce, first of its kind which is imparting applied knowledge in the field of infrastructure for all undergraduate students coming from all classes of society. He had participated in setting up a school at Mundra in Kutch catering to local needs and also contributed in improving the existing government schools in Mundra Taluka by providing support for physical infrastructure as well as its operations. |

Mr. Pankaj Kumar |
Mr. Pankaj Kumar , IAS, an IAS officer of the 1986 batch is Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Gujarat Maritime Board (GMB) is appointed as GMB nominee on the Board of Directors of Mundra Port And Special Economic Zone Limited. He has served as the Joint Managing Director of Sardar Sarovar Nigam Limited a premier public sector undertaking of the Gujarat Government. He brings to the position dynamism and leadership honed by over 20 years of working in various State Government Departments. Beginning his civil services career as Assistant Collector (Revenue Department), he has gone from strength to strength holding top-brass position like Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Municipal Commissioner, Collector of various districts, Additional CEO of Gujarat State Disaster Management Authority and many others. He comes to steer GMB at an important time, when it is set to play an even more critical role in Gujarat’s and the nation’s development through initiatives in shipbuilding, privatization, creation of maritime institutions and infrastructure. |
